Recruitment of an Administrative and Accounting Officer

VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT ADMINISTRATIVE AND ACCOUNTING OFFICER

For The West African Bankers’ Association (WABA)

 

The position of Administrative and Accounting Officer, at the regional office of the West African Bankers’ Association (WABA) in Freetown, Sierra Leone, has become vacant.

The Association hereby invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the post of Administrative and Accounting Officer.

The Administrative and Accounting Officer reports directly to the Secretary General of the Association and he is expected to provide support to the Secretary General who is responsible for the day to day management of the Association’s affairs.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

  1. A degree in the social sciences, banking, financial and accounting or any related field. Master’s degree or possession of a professional qualification would be an added advantage.
  2. The required person should be a staff of any institution in the banking/financial/accounting industry.
  3. Excellent communication skills both in written and oral English and French languages.
  4. Minimum of 5 years working experience in management and executive position in the banking/financial/accounting industry.
  5. Experience gained in an international organization would also be an added advantage.
  6. Good knowledge of computer and accounting tools.

 


 

SALARY AND CONDITION OF SERVICE

 

The Association runs a distinctive remuneration package which is comparable to what obtains in other Associations.
